Meet Nikki!

Hi!

I’m Nikki and I’m 11 years old.  I cheer for World Cup on their junior 5 coed team – the Starlites!  It is my second year on the team however, I have been cheering on a junior 5 team since I was 6 years old! I am a flyer for my  Starlites team but my number one thing I love to do is tumble!  I love that it is so challenging and how good it feels when you’ve been working so hard for a new skill and then you finally get it!  I  definitely encountered some obstacles along the way and sometimes do not always progress as fast as I want, but if you stick with it – the reward is amazing!

Also, keeping with the sport of cheerleading… you inevitably start to work with some pretty amazing and hardworking people!  I have been lucky to work and meet with many of them, and making Team iC is just a dream come true because now I will have the chance to meet more incredible people and share the sport I love with everyone!
In between tumbling and cheer I work hard on my other passion, which is music.  I play the guitar and sing mostly but I am trying my hand at some songwriting.  Yes it is hard to find the time for 2 passions but when you love them both you just do!
