Team iC’s Mike Hayes shares what made her first time at Woodward an unforgettable experience and why she wants to return as a coach one day!
Woodward is an advertising and promotional partner of Inside Cheerleading and sponsors TEAM iC.
As a first timer at Woodward, I was so excited to come! And yes, there was a little bit of fear, BUT that fear went away as soon as I stepped foot onto the camp.
All of the staff members were so kind and welcoming. Everything went smooth and easy, and I even made new friends on my first day.

One thing that I love about this camp is that there are different coaches from, literally, around the world. I was able to achieve new skills by having many new and different techniques taught to me. One of the coaches happened to be my idol who I’ve longed to meet.
Coming to Woodward was such an amazing experience, and I hope that one day I will be able to come back as a Coach!
Thank you Woodward staff and campers for making me feel like I was surrounded by family!
