Big Things This Year
Hey everyone,
This year is going to be both challenging and exciting all in one!
My team, Long Island Diamonds, received a full-paid bid to Worlds 2018. This is so exciting, but it’s been a few years since our gym has had a Worlds team. We have a lot of athletes that have never competed at Worlds, myself included. Now, we need to step it up and prove that we can work hard enough and compete on the same stage as teams that I have watched for years.
We get a February break. (It’s my birthday 🎂 month!!!) So we are going to CHEERSPORT in Atlanta, Georgia. That’s exciting because I have never been there. After CHEERSPORT, I’m going on a trip to Florida. Then it’s right to Texas to be with my Team iC family! It’s a busy week.
This year, I’ll be watching NCA. We won’t be competing. I missed watching a lot of teams last year, so it will still be fun. Then, it’s back to work to finish the season on a high note. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the season shapes up!
