Okay, my mind has been blown.
One second, I’m going about my day as normal; the next, my jaw is on the floor watching the National University Pep Squad absolutely slay a six-minute, Coco-inspired routine.
You read that right. Six. Flippin’. Minutes.
All while paying tribute to one of the greatest Disney movies of all time.
It starts out pretty normal with some typical Level 6 stunts. (Check out those Day of the Dead-themed unis!)
Before it goes from 0 to 100 real quick.
Next thing you know, they’re doing a mix of high-kicks, dance, jumps and gymnastics leaps all in a matter of 10 seconds.
The madness continues (and only gets better) for four more minutes! With fabulous moments like this:
And this.
All while competing on those little foam puzzle mats we used to play with as kids. No spring floor. Nothing else.
Safe to say they won by a landslide with zero deductions, usurping the reigning champions in front of a huge crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines.
All while taking the cheer world by storm…
… and making Mamá Coco proud.
Here’s the full routine in all its glory.
It’s. A. Vibe.
