Inside Publications History
Inside Publications, LLC is an independently owned and operated company that currently publishes two magazines, Inside Gymnastics and Inside Cheerleading. In May of 2002, Inside Publications launched its first issue of Inside Gymnastics and has since become one of the most reputable gymnastics publications available. Just two years later, Inside Publications announced the launch of its second magazine, Inside Cheerleading, designed to reach the rapidly growing market of cheerleaders in the United States. Intern Job Description: Interns working with Inside Publications will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the print media industry. Students will work closely with employees in all areas of the organization including advertising and design, customer relations, promotions, sales and marketing. Through this program, students can develop a deeper understanding of the work involved in magazine publishing as well as the fundamentals of business etiquette. It is our goal that students walk away from this experience with the tools and experience needed to excel in the workplace. Although not a requirement, candidates should have a general interest and knowledge in gymnastics, cheerleading and/or sports in general. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a non-paying internship. It may, however, count as course credit if conducive to the school’s requirements. The internship is available to high school juniors, seniors and all college students. We're looking for Junior High, High School, All-Star, and Collegiate Cheerleaders to help us decide what types of feature stories and articles will appear in the pages of iC. We'll also look to the iC Cheer Team to provide a "pulse" on cheerleading today, taking surveys from time to time and providing feedback on the magazine. Whether you're a seasoned veteran, brand-new to the scene, or even an aspiring cheerleader, we're looking for individuals with a variety of experience and in a variety of categories. To apply to become a member of the iC Cheer Team, please print out and complete the Application below. Once complete, please mail to the address on the form. You must be a subscriber to the magazine in order to apply to be a member of the iC Cheer Team as we'll be looking for feedback on the magazine. Click here to subscribe to Inside Cheerleading. We are looking for teams that we can feature in each issue that have triumphed through adversity, shown strength of character and excelled in performance on the national level. IC and GK will award each member of the winning team with a custom GK warm-up suit designed by the team! The second place team will win their choice of outfits from GK's Coaches and Team Coordinates line. These outfits will include free embroidery or jewelling, based on the team's preference.
