Pic-4Hey Everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the Holidays and that your cheer season is going great! I had a great time with family and friends over the break at Disneyland, in the snow, and of course, in the gym!

I’ve competed with The California All Stars Mafia and Snipers in 4 competitions so far this season. I really enjoyed seeing many of you and hangin’ out in the iC booth at GSSA San Jose with Shane from iC, Cari from Malibu Sugar, and my friends and teammates. It was so amazing to meet so many great people there, and Super Six was awesome!!! :)

I also had an amazing time at American Grand in Las Vegas! It was great to have incredible programs like Cheer Extreme travel so far to compete there! It was an awesome weekend! I loved seeing many of my friends, and I made a lot of new ones! <3

I’m also really proud of my baby sister, Bella, who competed with The California All Stars Mini Nation in their first comp of the season this past weekend, taking home 1st place!! She is a base, flyer and tumbler on the team (just like me!). The minis are absolutely adorbs and prove that FIERCE comes in ALL sizes! They compete again at Duel in the Desert in Palm Springs this weekend, and I can’t wait to cheer them all on!! :D

Our next competition is also this weekend at Spirit Sports Duel in the Desert in Palm Springs, California, and we are working really hard to prepare for it. This is one of my favorite comps of the season, and I’m really excited that iC will be there, too, so if you’re there, drop by the booth and say hi! :) I can’t wait to see all the amazing routines that everyone has been working so hard on!

Cheerleading is definitely the ultimate team sport, and it takes every single person on a team to work together to be successful at each practice and at competitions. Those of you that know me know how much I LOVE the sport (yes, it IS a sport!) and how much love and respect I have for my teammates, especially since I’m always posting pics of them LOL! :) I am ALWAYS with them, whether it’s at practice, competitions, or just hangin’ out. They go beyond being the most dedicated, amazing athletes and friends in the world…they are my family. In this blog, you’ll meet MAFIA, and in my next blog, I’ll introduce you to SNIPERS :)

I love my Mafia family, and now you know a little bit more about why we are so close. We laugh, we cry, we work really hard, and we love our coaches, our team and what we do. We are there for each other through everything. If someone lands a new pass or hits a new stunt, we’re there to celebrate, and we don’t judge if someone has a bad day. Instead we encourage them to get back up and try again. We see each other at our best and at our worst, and no matter what, we stand by and support each other through it all. That’s what being a family is all about, and that is MAFIA <3
